there’s a feeling that keeps me awake at night

it’s the feeling of being a complete failure

I can’t shake it off

so I get up and sit by the window

looking out in the night

neon lights

pimps and pushers

and then I realize

we are all failures

we never made it

humanity

it’s the one condition that we are alive

failure

it’s in our nature

that's what keeps us alive

makes us human
